Speaker Bios

 

Rev Wong Fong Yang - Rev Wong (BSc, MDiv, MTh) planted CDPC in July 2000. As a mission minded pastor, he trains pastors and church leaders in Mongolia, Vietnam & Myanmar as well as contributing his leadership wisdom as committee leader and key member in various local and overseas organisations.

 

Rev Wong is one of the founding directors of Kairos. He has also spoken in forums on contemporary issues and authored two books, "Freedom & Consideration - The Christian's Dilemma Concerning Food Offered to Idols (1994)" and "Discipline or Shame - The Dynamics of Shame in Church Discipline (1998)", and contributed articles to various publications. Rev Wong is married to Constance and they have two children, Sarah and Samuel.

 

Sreedhar Subramaniam - Sreedhar is a consultant with the Character Training Institute, a non-profit organisation based in Oklahoma involved in implementing character development programs for businesses, governments, schools and communities. He has also served as a board member, Church Secretary, zone and cell leader, and missions committee member at Glad Tidings Assembly of God, Petaling Jaya. He is active outside the church as well and is a Haggai Institute Alumni and faculty member, and a National Board Committee Member of the Haggai Institute Alumni Association of Malaysia. He is married to Lee Yen and have 4 wonderful children.

 

Camp Logistics

 

  1. Items to bring: Bible & writing materials, appropriate clothing (warm attire, sports shoes for games, walks, etc), personal toiletries, mosquito repellant & hairdryer if required.
  2. Check in at Pines Resort is at 2.30pm. Camp registration will take place at the lobby from 3-5pm.
  3. Each apartment has a refrigerator and coffee/tea making facilities. each 3 bedroom apartment will be shared by at least 2 families.
  4. Each apartment will be given 2 sets of keys. If you intend to leave the premises, kindly deposit your keys at the reception for the convenience of your apartment mates.
  5. Car drivers: Please take note that there are no petrol stations in Fraser's Hill. Please fill your tanks at Kuala Kubu Baru.
  6. All campers are encouraged to participate in all outdoor activities.
  7. Let us pray that our hearts and minds will be used by the Lord and for a safe journey.
