Emmanuel EFC Family Day @ MBS Centre, Rawang

Thinking through the 1st Emmanuel EFC Family Day (with Baptism Service too) - what it entails, who to comfort and who to inspire; we need a lot of prayers. How could playing, bonding and getting to know one another enrich our fellowship? The basic core idea here is a time to connect, communicate, collaborate and come and walk about as a community of God's people.

Where is it? It is held at MBS, Kundang, Rawang on the 1st of August 2009 from 9am to 7pm.

Cost per person is RM10 (free for those below 3 years of age). The real cost is RM28 per person, so those who are able, please pay the actual amount.

To register, please contact Mamman or Anthony Soon.

Rough Time Table for Camp Activities

  • 9am to 9:30am - Arrival time
  • 9:30 to 9:45am - Theology of Play & Bonding (Yong Teng Koon)
  • 9:45 to 10:15am - Prayer time (Lim Tack Sing)
  • 10:15am - Group Games & Telematch
  • 12:30pm to 1:30pm - Lunch

Map & Directions

Please click this link to see the map.

1. Get to PLUS Highway from MRR2 @ Sg Buloh interchange.
2. Exit at Rawang Toll (exit 116) Rm2.00.
3. Head westwards on to B27 (towards Btg Berjuntai/Batu Arang/Kundang) driving past Bandar Country Homes and Taman Bio. Do not turn right towards Rawang/Ipoh!
4. At the junction, kept left towards Kundang/Sg Buloh.
5. Follow this ‘country road for about 6 to 8km’ past the Tasik Biru factories.

6. MBS signboards will be visible (though small compared to 48 sheet poster, they can still be seen).

7. Go past a housing scheme (on the left virtually every household has an Astro antenna) and you will spot a ‘Tukang Besi Hon Seng’ and more signboards indicating MBS will be seen.
8. Finally just go beyond TNB station and viola there is the MBS Centre which you cannot miss.

If the instructions are still not clear, call MBS Recreation & Training SB @ 03 6037 2273 OR call Mamman 012 5211 512 which is equivalent to a walking GPS.

If you have a GPS just type MBS, Kundang and everything is self explanatory.

To try and reach the place by 8:50am on 1st August you must want to leave Melawati at 8am sharp (other places please adjust accordingly to usual working hours/traffic routine). Those in PJ, Damansara & Shah Alam area, use the Guthrie Corridor.
